The Trust provides a comprehensive range of hospital based medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services to the people of Lincolnshire and beyond. The Trust administers these services with the help of a staff of over 8000 people.

Lincoln's central location gives easy access to London and other cities such as Nottingham, Hull, Sheffield and Leicester. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a very popular tourist destination which is just over an hour road trip from Lincoln. The Lincoln Central Railway Station is situated right in the middle of the city providing access to London's King Cross station in just about 2 hours. The station also offers services to Nottingham, Peterborough, Stevenage, Newark, Doncaster, Sheffield, Grimsby, Wakefield and many more locations throughout the country.
Local buses and cycles for hire can be used to navigate the medieval city centre as it can be quite tricky to navigate by car. One can rent a bike for free for 30 minutes to navigate around the City centre.
The closest airport to Lincoln is Humberside Airport which is located only 29 miles north of the city. Offering flights to Doncaster, Amsterdam and Sheffield. International travel is provided through the bigger East Midlands Airport which is located about 43 miles away.

Many of the local schools in Lincoln have been rated as "outstanding" by Ofsted a government agency in charge of maintaining standards in education.
For primary schools, Mount Street, St Peter-in-Eastgate CofE Infant, Lincoln Carlton and Hartsholme are popular choices. For secondary schools we have Priory City of Lincoln, Lincoln Castle, Sir Robert Pattinson and The Priory Witham, all of which have an "outstanding" rating from Ofsted.

Leisure and Amenities
Lincoln is most famously known as the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton who was born in a manor house near Grantham in 1642, one can visit the actual apple tree that inspired his thoughts about gravity. It is also a foodie's paradise with Steep Hill and Brayford Waterfront said to be the best places to eat. Famous eateries include restaurants such as The Bronze Pig, Browns Pie Shop, Jews House Restaurant and the Cheese Society Cafe.
Lincoln also has a popular nightlife since all the pubs and bars are within walking distance. One can head to 'Trebles and Liquor' to start your night out in style, and 'Sugarcubes' for some hardcore Rock music to party.
There are also plenty of family friendly green spaces in and around Lincoln. 'Temple Gardens', 'WItham Valley Country Park' and 'Skellingthorpe Woods' are great places to explore with your family.
