CENTRAL AND NORTH WEST LONDON NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS Foundation Trust in England that provides healthcare in the London, Milton Keynes and Surrey regions. Created in 2002 by a merger between Brent, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Mental Health NHS Trust, Harrow and HIllingdon Healthcare Trust and the Spelthorne Community and Mental Health NHS Trust. It has been named by the Health Service Journal as one of the top hundred NHS Trusts to work for in 2015 with a staff strength of close to 7000.
CNWL provides services ranging from physical and mental health to everything in between. Providing care in the community directly is what CNWL is known for, treating people in their homes or from clinics close to home. Embodying a very modern part of the NHS, CNWL integrates and coordinates care as close to home as possible. Where such care cannot be delivered the Trust is well equipped to treat people in both hospital or residential environments.

Types of Services
​
Physical health:
Community treatment for physical conditions that do not require general hospital treatment or conditions that require long-term care. This includes district nursing, health visitors, stroke care and support for people in recovery.​
Mental health: Community and hospital treatment for children, adults and older people with mental health problems. Services range from counselling support for mild conditions to rehabilitation treatment for long and enduring mental health problems.
Learning disabilities:
Assessment and treatment for people with learning disabilities who also have complex mental health needs and/or challenging behaviour. Services are provided in the community or hospital.
Eating disorders:
Admission to hospital or appointment sessions are provided to support men and women with an eating disorder.
Addictions:
Community drug and alcohol treatment services are provided, as well as hospital admission when it is needed. Specialist services to address problem gambling, compulsive behaviour and club drug problems are also available.
Sexual health:
Appointment and walk-in services are available for anyone who needs them. This includes contraceptive choices, treatment of sexually transmitted infections and HIV testing and treatment.
Prison and offender care:
Full healthcare services, including primary healthcare, addictions and mental health support, are provided in a number of prisons. Mental health support is also provided in the community for people who have offended in the past or people at risk of offending.

Food & Drinks
The traditional food in London is renowned for being delicious with a wide variety of choices. The City has numerous eateries, restaurants and pubs that serve a mix of cuisines ranging from Mexican tortillas, Italian pastas, Indian Kebabs, Chinese dishes and even Japanese Sushi.
Fish and chips are a delicious iconic dish, that consists of batter-coated, fried fish and chips. This delightful yet straightforward meal originated in England and has become one of the most famous London dishes. It is best served hot and is eaten as a main course however, you can find it as a take-away snack from food stalls around London.
The English Breakfast is one of the best London foods, and many cafes and pubs serve it throughout the day.
London is welcoming of everyone and anyone. It represents the cosmopolitan world. The 'Big Smoke' as it is referred to is home to more than 270 nationalities and 300 languages. British people are renowned for being polite and hospitable. The British people are especially polite and helpful, so don't be shocked if you hear a few too many 'Thank you', 'Please' and 'Sorry'.
