NHS Lanarkshire is Scotland's third-largest health board, with a workforce of 12,000 people providing acute and community healthcare services to a population of 655,000 in rural and urban communities throughout Lanarkshire. Lanarkshire, also known as the County of Lanark, is the most populous county in Scotland, encompassing the majority of Glasgow and its surrounding region.
